Murphys, CA...Murphys Creek Theatre is is gearing up for another great season this summer which opens on June 27 with the "Merry Wives of Windsor." Theater under the stars is the best it can be at the Stevenot Performing Arts Center. Murphys, CA...Murphys Creek Theatre is pleased to announce that classes are beginning June 30th for their summer youth conservatory, The Mirror Project! Designed for students of the arts from ages nine to sixteen, The Mirror Project offers invaluable training under the tutelage of professional artists from all walks of life. Students receive instruction in acting, improvisation, text analysis, voice, singing, dance, and stage combat. The crowning achievement of their summer is the full-length production of a Shakespearean work. This year, The Mirror Project students will be presenting "The Merry Wives of Windsor.".....

Comedy Melodrama to Benefit The Copperopolis Volunteer Fire Department |

Copperopolis, CA..."The Colonel Cantrell Copper Caper of Copperopolis OR Caught Cold with a Hot Cot Coil" written and directed by Linda Beck will be playing at the Historic Armory on O'Byrnes Ferry Road in Copperopolis on May 9th and 10th.. The comedy melodrama will benefit the Copperopolis Volunteer Fire Department. Tickets are $7.50 for adults and $5 for kids 12 or under. Casual Faire Food, Beer, Wine and Soda will be sold by The Copperopolis Community Center to benefit the restoration and preservation of the historic old Church and Armory buildings.....
