Sonora, CA...One lane is blocked and crews are on scene of an injury accident on Mono Way and Sanguinetti Road. A Chevy and a Mitsubishi have gotten together. Please use caution out there as the next wave of rain rolls through..

Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close State Route 108 (SR-108) from Hess Avenue near Cavalieri Road to Standard Road near Via Este Road/ Rancho Poquitos for blasting. Blasting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 27, 2012, from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Motorists should expect 15 minute delays. A signed detour is in place and alternate routes should be taken whenever possible...

Sonora, CA...The prescribed fire is located northwest of Beardsley Lake and adjacent to Forest Service Roads 5N02 (Beardsley Road), 5N22, and 4N66. Locations are Township 4N Range 17E Sections 2-5, 8-10 and Township 5N Range 17E Sections 23, 26, 32-35. Ignition of the Dry Meadow Underburn will commence early November. The burn days will vary slightly, contingent on weather, burn day status, and available fire suppression resources. All burning is monitored and conducted in accordance with state and county air quality guidelines and closely coordinated with local county air quality control districts...

Columbia, CA..Columbia College invites the public to view and appreciate the artifacts in the William Walter collection on display in the Manzanita Building Rotunda; open 8am - 7pm, Monday to Friday through December 21, 2012. This collection of Native American artifacts was presented to the Columbia College Foundation in 1974 by Mr. William Walter.
