ATTCA is leading the cause for getting grants to improve Broadband Access in the local Five-County area. These grants are for planning and infrastructure. Welcome Readers....2008 is a Leap Year! So, instead of a 365 day year we will have a 366 day year. Leap Years occur every four years which helps synchronize the calendar year with the solar year. For all you non scientific readers out there this simply means the amount of time it takes our earth to complete its orbit around the sun....

| Angels Camp, CA...The Calaveras County Board of Education will meet on Monday February 25th at 4:30pm. They will be discussing the Mountain Oaks Project Update. There will be also be a presentation of Adult Education Diploma's. The Board will be reviewing costs incurred and approval of the cost analysis of the salary settlement for the Calaveras County Office of Education Independent Study Teachers for 2007/08.
