Columbia, CA...Volunteer fire crews from around the western United States will take part in the competition, presented by Columbia Volunteer Fire Department Engine Co. No. 1. The muster parade begins at 12 Noon (Columbia time) on Main Street in Columbia. Other events include hose cart races, bucket brigade, skills completion, hand pumper contest. Admission is free.

Bear Valley, CA...We've had a good turn out on the tubing hills last weekend. As a result we will be open for one more weekend. Don't miss out on the last sledding & tubing days. Sunday May 5th. We will be having a Cinco de Mayo BBQ here at the Adventure Company this Sunday. Come by for tacos, chips, salsa and cold Mexican beer! Although our trails are closed we still have snowshoe rentals available to use at any of the snow parks in the area.
