Copperopolis, CA...We had the pleasure to attend the Mark Twain Medical Center New Clinic Construction Toast this morning. The Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) has begun construction in Copper Town for new Family Medical Clinic. The new clinic will be at 430 Sawmill Road Copperopolis Ca. Town Square. The funding for this project comes not only from Dignity Health Mark Twain Medical Center but from Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation & Mark Twain Health Care District. Covid Cases Explode in Tuolumne County & County Moved to Most Restrictive Tier |

Sonora, CA...Cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in Tuolumne County at an explosive rate, with Public Health receiving reports of 95 cases so far over the weekend; 45 on Saturday and 50 on Sunday. It is evident that we are experiencing community transmission and advise the public to stay home except for essential needs. In addition, it is vital for individuals who are having symptoms to stay home and avoid going to work or school.

Murphys, CA...Black Sheep Winery arrived in Murphys with the 1984 harvest. From that first harvest we produced our 1984 Amador Zinfandel. The wine was styled in a big, bold way like nobody else could do. That's what makes us Black Sheep; we're different from the rest of the flock. We feature small batches of limited release wines handcrafted from high quality grapes grown in Calaveras and Amador Counties. We produce about 2,500 cases of wine per year, specializing in Zinfandels and Rhone varietals.

Caltrans Now Offers Temporary Permits for Businesses to Operate on State Highway Right of Way |

Sacramento, CA... Restaurants, retailers and other businesses are eligible to temporarily operate on the state highway right of way (ROW) under permits available from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). These permits follow Governor Gavin Newsom’s October 28 Executive Order N-83-20 directing Caltrans to develop a process for issuing temporary permits to cities and counties so businesses located along state highways can expand dining and retail options onto sidewalks and parking areas where safe.

San Francisco, CA... Every day, electric and natural gas customers throughout the country are being targeted by utility scams. These imposters typically target customers online, in-person and by telephone. And, this year is even worse due to the ongoing financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. PG&E is taking a stand against scammers by joining its fellow electric, natural gas, water utilities and Utilities United Against Scams (UUAS) in helping customers recognize potential bad actors during Utility Scam Awareness Week from November 16-23, 2020.
