Angels Camp, CA...Time to sign up to participate for the annual Youth Parade! The Parade, which is put on by Soroptimist International of Calaveras County and sponsored by Century 21 Sierra Properties, will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 19 in Angels Camp. Individuals, pairs, and groups/clubs are all invited to take part in the exciting event. Come help kick off the start of the Jumping Frog Jubilee, with your community! Those who are interested in participating can find the entry form online at www.frogtown.org. A few photos and video from last year to get you in the mood.

Angels Camp, CA...Galluping into the Arena at 2 P.M. on the opening day of the Fair for the Saddle Queen competition will be: Callie Fischer (Calaveras), Christa Gillio (Calaveras), Gracie Granam (Bret Harte), Melanie Nelson (Bret Harte), and Samantha Smith (Bret Harte). This is a great test of skill, poise and drive for our young ladies. The contest also decides who will represent the County in numerous parades & public appearances throughout the year.
