Angels Camp, CA....What do you do when you've got a zillion kids coming over? Get the biggest bounce house in the world, as many balloons as you can find, some treats...and brace yourself! Bret Harte High School was the site yesterday for an invasion of happy children and their families as they hosted a blowout event; The Children's Health Fair 2011. Filling the gymnasium and continuing outside onto the quad, it seemed the entire campus was full of laughs and smiling faces of all ages. We hope you got a chance to attend. Angels Camp, CA...This weekend the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce hosts it's annual Spring Home and Garden Show at the fairgrounds on Highway 49. Vendors of all kinds from home improvement specialists, garden and landscape suppliers and contractors, to furniture and appliance retailers are assembled again today from 11-4.....
Angels Camp Pharmacist Arrested for Drug Theft at RiteAid~by Patrick Works

Angels Camp, CA....Rite Aid Angels Camp loss prevention staff contacted Angels Camp Police after discovering drugs missing from the Pharmacy on Main St. late last week. After further investigation Angels Police arrested Dean Stanley Westphalen, 61 of Angels Camp, the pharmacist at Rite Aid. Discovered in Mr. Westphalen's vehicle parked outside was over $3,000 worth of drugs. Further investigation by Angels Police resulted in the seizure of over 35 different prescription medications ranging from Viagra to Oxycodone and other narcotics.....
