Angels Camp, CA...The Angels Camp City Council will be back in session September 3. The City Council starts things off with a closed session with one item is a legal case of Difu, Croletto, Rosato and Turco v. City of Angels Camp. Agenda items include accepting the Audit Report and also a Public Hearing on the Water Master Plan, City Clerk to administer Oath of Office to Police Officer Kyle Hansen and more...

Calaveras County, CA...According to Earth911.com, the EPA estimates that 24% of the U.S. municipal solid waste is composed of food remnants and yard trimmings. If we all did our part to compost instead of throwing these materials in the trash, a large portion of everyday waste could be recovered for reuse. And that’s good for all of us!
