Trey Jarnagin is Home!! Weekly Chemo To Continue |

Arnold, CA...Trey took an emergency helicopter ride to UC Davis Children’s Hospital on December 12, 2013. There, he was diagnosed with Lymphoma a few days later. Many, many tests were done and he started Chemo treatments on December 20. After 26 days in the hospital, he came home Monday, January 6, and is so happy to be there!! It was Trey’s request that the family wait to celebrate Christmas until he could come home. So, the family had Christmas Eve on Tuesday, January 7, and enjoyed a nice quiet Christmas Day on Wednesday. Trey and his parents, Mike and Danielle Jarnagin, want everyone to know that there are no words to describe their appreciation for all the support, prayers and good wishes that they have received during their stay at the hospital and now at home. “Thank You” is not enough!! It made a huge difference!! Mike refers to this as a”Tsunami of Love” from all of the friends and family of this “Awesome Community”!!! It’s all been overwhelming!!

Staffed by a dedicated bunch of talented volunteers, planning for the 2014 Murphys Irish Day celebration is well underway. Under the egis of the Murphys Business Association (MBA), the signature event will be held Saturday, March 15, the Saturday closest to St. Patrick’s Day. “This event, which means so much to our community, would not be possible without the hard work by a number of people who give of their time for many weeks to make sure Irish Day continues to be one of the most popular happening in the Mother Lode,” says MBA president Jim Heryford....

San Andreas, CA -- Atty. John J. Trifilo of Murphys, CA has announced his intention to run for Calaveras County Superior Court Judge, Department 2. Trifilo has nearly 40 years of law experience. In announcing his decision to run, Trifilo said, “My experience in multiple areas of the law has given me an in depth understanding of the complex matters that come before our judiciary.” Trifilo currently practices primarily family law, and also has experience in personal injury, property and other civil disputes.
