Arnold, CA...The Motherlode Wine & Art Festival which benefits the Calaveras Humane Society, had it's 4th successful run on Saturday. The event filled the Cedar Center with Live music, Great Art and yummy food by Tallahan's and Uncle Mike's BBQ. Many Calaveras Wineries had booths and offered tastings along with many Humane Society Volunteers staffing Wine Tasting Booths from 2-5pm The event was free...

Murphys, CA...Last weekend's Passport event for our local wine industry was a sellout. Calaveras Winegrape Alliance Executive Director Anna Davies said that all 500 of the Passports were sold. The festivities started off at Murphys Community Park on Friday night and then many of the Wineries had special events planned throughout the weekend.
