CHP Officer Injured While Making Enforcement Stop |

Jackson, CA...On Thursday March 7, 2004 at approximately 4:00 PM, a California Highway Patrol vehicle was traveling eastbound on Shenandoah Road west of Dickson Road. The CHP officer was attempting to make an enforcement stop and was broadsided on the passenger side by a vehicle traveling westbound on Shenandoah Road. Both the officer and the driver of the other vehicle sustained moderate injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to the Amador County Fairgrounds, then transported by air ambulance. The CHP officer was airlifted to Sutter Roseville Medical Center and the party in the other vehicle was transported to UC Davis Medical Center. The cause of this collision is still under investigation.

Arnold, CA...This highway information is the latest reported By Caltrans as of Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at 09:18 AM. There is a bit of a mismatch on info though on Hwy 120. Signs are not reporting it and server not reporting it but Quickmap has 12o closed at Yosemite Entrance.

Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 feet above 5000 feet, with 1 to 4 feet above 3000 feet from Thursday through Sunday morning. Minor accumulations down to around 2000 feet.
