CHP is reporting 4 Vehicle collisions and Traffic Hazards on Hwy 4 due to the snow and road conditions. Please be careful out there today as the snow levels are expected to drop to 1500 feet today.

CAL Fire Reporting a Flue Fire on January 14th

CAL Fire is reporting a flue fire on January 14th at 4307 Ranch Road and Murphys Grade Road. Luckily the fire was contained to the flue and there were no injuries reported. No structure damage was reported and there is no dollar value estimate available at this time. Full CAL Fire report enclosed....
Arnold House Fire A Total Loss on Christmas Eve...Please Reach Out to This Family If You Can

Arnold, CA...EPFD is reporting a house fire at approximately 4:05am on December 24th, 2007, at 1074 Lilac Drive in Arnold. The cause is under investigation. The house is total loss. The home belonged to Pat and Susan Tarpley of Tarpley Electric. The family was apparently not home when this happened. Our thoughts and prayers go out to this family during this very difficult time. Luckily the home was fully insured and the insurance company has cooperated extremely well, according to Susan Tarpley. Their family dog also survived.....
