San Andreas, CA...Emergency crews are working a single vehicle roll over accident near Winton & Hidden Valley Rd. Please use caution in the area...more to follow. Update..As of 6:40pm the road is still partially blocked. When this accident came through is showed a person possibly pinned under the vehicle. Use caution in the area...(Update)According to CHP it is a major injury accident.

Fields Training Burn Scheduled for May 26th |

San Andreas, CA...The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) will be conducting a training burn north of Orange Blossom Recreation Area, approximately 4 miles northeast of the community of Oakdale. This burn is scheduled to start at 10 a.m., Monday, May 26th and end Tuesday afternoon May 27th, 2008. Approximately 150 acres of grass will be burned during the exercise......

CAL Fire reported a 2 acre wildland timber fire at 25202 Hwy 108 at 25076 Bottini Apple Ranch in Odd Fellows on Friday May 16th. Cause of fire is unknown and there were no injuries reported. See full fire report enclosed....

Arnold, CA....BBQ ash caused a small spot fire by a BBQ that fell over onto flammable vegetation at 2182 Sierra Pine Way in Arnold on May 18th, 2008. No injuries reported. Full CAL Fire report enclosed....

San Andreas, CA....CHP is reporting a collision involving a carnival vehicle at Hwy 12 at El Papagalo. Apparently the vehicle rolled over. The roadway is clear and we are unsure if there are any injuries.

San Andreas, CA......The San Andreas CHP will be aggressively enforcing the State’s occupant protection laws as part of California’s 2008 Click It or Ticket mobilization, taking place May 19-June 1. The campaign relies on heavy enforcement and public education as a means to help California achieve the highest seat belt use rate in the nation. California currently has the nation’s fourth highest seat belt use rate at 94.6 percent. ......

Angels Camp, CA...At approximately 1400 hrs the majority of the rides at Calaveras County Fair were officially re-opened. The remainder of the rides continue to be inspected by Cal OSHA. All other scheduled events will continue. The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office has completed their Industrial Accident report of the ride collapse, which was investigated by Sheriff Detectives and Sheriff Patrol staff. Vehicle Accident Causes Small Vegetation Fire in Angels Camp |

Angels Camp, CA...CAL Fire Reported an accident involving a late model Toyota Camry caused the vehicle to catch fire and spread to nearby vegetation burning a 30' x 30' area at 1166 Gold Cliff Road in Angels Camp on Sunday afternoon. Estimated damages including the vehicle is $45,000. Full report is enclosed....
