Oakdale Man Arrested On Under Age Sex, Human Trafficking & Other Charges

Oakdale, CA...On Feb. 2nd, 2015, Detectives with the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35 year old Daniel Leon Clifton at his residence in Oakdale. Clifton was arrested after a 2 month long investigation into his alleged relationship with an underage female who resided in Tuolumne County. The relationship is suspected to have lasted for longer than two years. Clifton was arrested on more than 10 counts including unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, oral copulation, human trafficking, and many charges related to the manufacturing and exchanging of obscene images and videos. Clifton is currently in custody at the Tuolumne County Jail and being held on a $500,000 bail...

Sonora, CA...During the morning of 20 February 2015, Christopher Warfield, 37 of Oakdale, was released from the Tuolumne County Jail, where he had been booked by the Sheriff’s Department on a warrant and for tampering with a vehicle. Sonora, CA... 16 February 2015, at approx. 7:56 pm, Officers responded to the area of the 300 block of South Shepherd Street regarding a female subject knocking on doors asking for help. Officers responded and contacted a 19 year old female, who reported she had been attacked and sexually assault by a stranger. The female reported she was walking on the trail which runs between 250 Greenley Road and Morning Star Court, around 5:30 pm, when a male subject approached her from behind and placed a knife to her throat. The male subject told the victim that if she didn’t do what he told her to do, he would kill her....

Sonora, CA... 15 February 2015, at approx. 1:30 am, the Sonora Police Department responded to the Koto House, located at 70 Stockton Road, for a reported armed robbery. When Officers arrived they made contact with the owner. The owner related the business had closed for the night. While inside the office, he was approached by a male suspect. The suspect was wearing a ski mask and holding a knife, which he had armed himself with from inside the restaurant...
Jamestown, CA...On 2/12/15 about 3:50 P.M. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputies saw a vehicle driven by a female, later identified as 27 year old, Stephanie Foster on Circle Drive in Jamestown, CA. The passenger in the vehicle was 26 year old Andrew Buzinskis. The Deputies had prior knowledge that Buzinskis had two active Felony Arrest Warrants for narcotics violations and was suspected to be armed with a handgun. Deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle and Foster fled and attempted to evade the Deputies. A pursuit lasted approx.. 3/10 of a mile at which time Foster yielded on Golf Links Road. Buzinskis exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The Sheriff’s Department K9 (Justice) was deployed and the K9 entered the vehicle and bit Foster on the arm....
