Call 209.728.0700 for reservations. Thursdays at the Prospector Brewery - Live music every Thursday from 6-8 pm featuring the Experimentalists, Nate Frazier and Jonny Sass on the 18h. King Fire Prompts Backcountry Advisory & Rubicon Trail Now Closed

South Lake Tahoe, Calif. –Due to the uncertain path of the King Fire, the U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit has closed the McKinney Rubicon Trail and is advising against travel into the Desolation or Granite Chief wildernesses. The Eldorado National Forest has issued a forest closure for its Desolation Wilderness trails and trailheads. In particular, hikers and equestrians should consider cancelling plans for overnight travel into the Desolation and Granite Chief wildernesses....

San Andreas, CA...Twenty three artists and ten locations are the people to meet and the places to visit on Saturday and Sunday, September 27-28, 2014. Locations are open from 10am to 5:00pm each day. The Calaveras Artists Studio Tour is free to the public. Frog Jump World Champions To Appear On Steve Harvey Show

Frogtown, USA....Laura and Riley Kitchell hop on a plane next week to Chicago to film a segment on the national syndicated talk show, "The Steve Harvey" show. Laura was the World Champion Frog Jump winner in 2012 and Riley was in 2013. This is first time a mother and son have won consecutively. The show is being filmed live but the air date has not been publicized. So stay tuned!
