Wallace, CA...The Wallace-Burson Association, a non-profit organization located in Wallace, Calaveras County, will be honoring two of its members – Harold and Caroline Doll – for their more than 50-years of service to their community at a celebration to be held in their honor starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 27 at the Tri-Lakes Church located at 7999 Wards Ave in Wallace. The event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and will occur on a Day which the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors has proclaimed “Harold and Caroline Doll Day” in Wallace and Burson.

Mountain Ranch, CA...The Mountain Ranch Car Show and Craft Faire returns to Mountain Ranch Saturday August 27th. Event opens at 9AM. Car show entries will be judged and trophies awarded at 12PM. Other attractions include our Craft Faire, with creative and unique items for sale by many talented vendors. The Snack Bar will be open providing a variety of delicious hot and cold sandwiches, soft drinks, chili, nachos, and root beer floats. There will be a bounce house for the kids, and a dunk tank staffed by our local talent. The horseshoe tournament begins at 11AM with a $10 buy in. Enter your car, $20 entry fee.
