The goals for PEG Access Television are to promote free speech, foster diverse points of view, encourage communications, create opportunities, encourage artistic expression, expand educational access, and promote participatory democracy in order to strengthen the spirit of the communities and enrich the lives of our residents and visitors.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! 4" of new snow overnight brings us up to 10" for the storm total. Partly sunny skies are expected today as the system moves East. Thanksgiving day looks to be sunny and clear with temps in the mid 40's and then a return of snow Friday night and thru the weekend. Continued unsettled weather will push into the beginning of next week as the active pattern continues. Winter is not too far off and we're getting ready to share our "pure mountain fun" ethos.

Sutter Creek, CA...Tickets are still available for Foothill Conservancy’s December 2 film screening of DamNation. Winner of multiple awards, including the 2015 Wildlife Film Festival, DamNation tells the story of diverse groups of people and communities coming together to remove obsolete dams in order to
restore native fisheries, outdoor recreation, local economies and protect tribal culture. The film starts at 7:30 pm at the Sutter Creek Theatre on Main Street, Sutter Creek.

Vallecito, CA...Back by popular demand, our 7th Annual Caroling in the Cave Concert at Moaning Cavern on Saturday, December 17th at 6pm features the talented local choir Jazz@8 from Summerville High School. Beautifully arranged carols sung a cappella in multi-part-harmony come to life in this spectacular environment with its incredible natural acoustics.

Columbia, CA...Columbia State Historic Park and Friends of Columbia are proud to present this year’s Lamplight Tour, “The Grand Holiday Raffle!” Participants will be guided through the decorated town during the walking play while listening to snippets of the town’s happenings. Docent-led Lamplight Tours will run Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd beginning at 5:30pm and leaving every 15 minutes. Tickets are on sale now.

Copperopolis, CA....Copperopolis Town Square will host its annual “Old Fashioned Holiday and Tree Lighting at the Square” on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Highlights of the free event include tremendous sales from the Town Square’s brick-and-mortar establishments as well as arts and crafts and food vendors, live music, hot and cold beverages, wine tasting, carolers, carriage rides, and opportunities for photos all day with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The festivities will be topped off by a 6 p.m. ceremony to light the Town Square’s tree.
