Murphys, CA...Murphys was ground zero for New Years Eve celebrations in the county this year. Many other locations including Bear Valley, Sequoia Woods in Arnold and Camps in Angels Camp and others all had celebrations but Murphys had several different celebrating options within a short distance of each other. Murphys Hotel, Metate Hill, Grounds and Cactus Jacks that had local party band Plan B working the crowd....

December 3, 2011, Angels Camp CA..Historic Downtown on Main St. Just about the entire population of Calaveras County turned out to greet Santa Claus has he made his annual visit to the parade Saturday in Historic Downtown Angels Camp. Kids of all ages enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon, all the entertainment, and shopping galore as businesses were decked out for the season, and Santa came to town!
