Sonora, CA....It does not feel like it this weekend, but the autumn equinox is fast approaching! As we enter into this season please know that the archery hunt season has begun and rifle hunt season is fast approaching. Hunters are allowed to hunt on Forest lands and in the Emigrant, Mokelumne and Carson-Iceberg Wilderness. It is a good idea to wear bright colors in the forest during this time! Zones D5 and D6 are on the Stanislaus National Forest. Murphys, CA...Here is a band that wouldn't take it anymore; not just your variety pop band but more. These cats are very accomplished musicians performing eclectic music and have garnered quite the following in the Bay Area. The musicians are mostly touring musicians that claim SLP as their home base band when in town. Truly a band of real all stars! The Street Lucy Project is also known for it's high energy up tempo jazz funk fusion which is always accompanied by some good old school dance funk soul music.
