First 2019 Guided Cougar Rock Sunset/Full Moon Hike Saturday, May 18th. First 2019 Volunteer Trail Building Morning also Saturday, May 18th.

Arnold, CA...How to secure your data with a consistent backup program will be explored when the Sierra Macintosh Users Group (SMUG) moves back to its warm-weather location in Arnold for the Tuesday, April 9 meeting that will begin at 7 p.m. in the assembly room of the Ebbetts Pass Fire District, 1037 Blagen Rd., just off Highway 4.

Produced by the Calaveras Winegrape Alliance, Murphys Grape Stomp has been one of the regions most popular events enjoyed by generations of local residence and visitors alike who attend year after year to compete in California’s oldest, largest grape stomp competition. This year, the Calaveras Winegrape Alliance will be adding more harvest related activities and events to give people an immersive look into the Sierra Foothills harvest season and winemaking processes by celebrating all things grape harvest with vineyard tours, live music in the park, harvest cooking demonstrations, games, wine activities and more.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! With the recent storm exiting East we picked up 15″ of new snow and well……yesterday in the Lwr Mtn everyone had one of the best days of the season! 37F looks to be the high today with a SW wind from 5-7mph. High pressure is parked off the coast and SUnny skies are ahead. We are set up for a stellar weekend of skiing/riding as Saturday will be sunny with a high of 43F and Sunday comes in the same albeit a bit warmer at 48F. A return of unsettled weather will arrive April 1st(no joke there) and bring warmer temps with it. Conditions are amazing currently and with 480″ of snow so far this season we look to have awesome conditions well into spring. Our closing date is currently April 21st. Bear Valley, CA...Tour de Bear Valley Saturday March 30th. A fun day of group skiing with various challenges of distance, followed by potluck and film fest. Everyone is invited. Co-Op members can get free rentals for the day to get out there and try it.
