Leprechaun Sighting in Murphys California! ~By Patrick Works

Posted by: John_Hamilton on 03/19/2012 11:05 AM
Murphys, California...It was just like a summer day in Ireland yesterday, as a cold rain came to greet the undaunted crowds assembled for the annual Irish Days celebration in Murphys California. Sheriff Gary Kuntz came out as he does every year, and was joined by many of his deputies and a host of volunteers to see the event was orderly and all fun...

2012 Irish Day...The Show Went On

Posted by: John_Hamilton on 03/17/2012 11:59 PM
Murphys, CA..It was a wet, soggy and even snowy 2012 Irish Day. A good sized crowd was still on hand in spite of weather that was anything but conducive to an outdoor event. It was a veritable buffet of rain, sleet, snow and at times heavy. In some years past where there has been inclimate weather the clouds have stopped and even parted at times for the parade. But alas 2012 was not one of those year. The Murphys Business Association as usual did great work putting on a compelling event. So the 2012 Irish Day is in the books. We have photos below and video will be up soon...
