Murphys, CA...Do you love to dance? Here is your chance to shine while helping raise funds for the new Family Medical & Women’s Health Center in Angels Camp. Auditions will be held on Saturday, July 14, 9:00am-12:00pm, at Ironstone Vineyards. This casting call is for all amateur dancers over the age of 21. Loosely modeled after the popular television show, Dancing with the Stars, six couples dance for the coveted Mirrored Ball Award and People’s Choice Award (most dollars raised). Sierra Nevada Logging Museum Revved Up for Summer |

Arnold, CA...The museum has been open for a little over two months, and visitor numbers are up. The museum is open from noon to 4:00 Thursdays through Sunday. There are new exhibits inside, the outdoor exhibits are in great shape, and the grounds are a beautiful setting for a picnic or an educational stroll....
