The event also features vintage trailers, housecars, antique trucks and motorcycles, race cars and wooden boats. Honored guests from the old-car hobby and the auto industry regularly participate.

Murphys, CA - On Saturday, October 1, 2022, about 5000 people will attend the 29th Annual Calaveras Grape Stomp at Murphys Community Park where 120 teams from near and far will compete for title of Top Stomper! The 29th Annual Calaveras Grape Stomp has grown into California’s Oldest and Largest Grape Stomp Competition.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! If ya haven't heard, September 24th is our fun race, "Another one Bikes the Dust". prizes for 1st through 3rd in girls & boys under 15 and Women & Men's over plus participants will be randomly paired after their runs and the 2 combined times which are fastest will win season passes for next summer here at the Bike Park. Also, the 2 Grand winners names will be displayed in the Day Lodge on the coveted Rings of Glory trophy for all to see. That is some serious fun bragging rights right there.

San Andreas, CA...The San Andreas Rotary Club will once again be serving up "Fall off the Bone" Barbecued Spare Ribs in the Treat's General Store Parking Lot in San Andreas on Saturday October 8th from 3pm til 6pm. This annual event originally began as a fundraiser back in 2020 when Covid caused so many restaurants to close their dining rooms. The response was overwhelming and a lot of people have asked the club to continue the Drive Thru Rib Dinner even though things are getting back to normal, those ribs are just that good!

Arnold, CA...Last Thursday the Calaveras Chamber of Commerce held one of their After Hours events at Hinterhaus Distilling in Arnold. Attendees could not only sample their spirituous creations they also leaned about the combination of art and science that brings the spirits to life. It was a great time at one of our thriving local businesses!
