Murphys, CA...One of the most fun, adventurous bicycle rides in Calaveras County returns in 2023 with choice of three bicycle rides that start from Feeney Park in Murphys. Routes range in difficulty from easy-ish to gut-busting. You’ll bicycle through the Northern California foothills and the Up-Country Sierra, often on newly paved roads, and return to Feeney Park for an after-ride celebration with a fabulous lunch by the chefs at Vida Buena Farms in Vallecito, California. This cycling event is great for road bikes and E-bikes.

Copperopolis, CA...From Velo Promo..."Despite the torrential rains and other foul weather, the Copperopolis course is for the most part the same as the past several years.. There are more potholes than in the past, including on the first section of the downhill on Hunt Road (2.5 miles before the finish), but the County is planning to repair those this week. There is a short gravel and mud washout section just at the beginning of the long flat straight across Salt Springs Valley, and a set of potholes just before the sharp left onto Hunt Road.
