Hollywood, CA...“The dead are alive,” declares the opening title card (a first in the franchise), for Spectre. It’s a running theme throughout the twenty-fourth official James Bond film, over which the shadow of Bond’s legacy looms large. More so than any of the previous films, particularly in the Daniel Craig era, this new story tries to maintain continuity and return Bond to his roots, throwing our agent against unstoppable henchmen, using weird gadgets, and of course, reintroducing the shadowy criminal organization of the title, which was especially prevalent in the Connery era.

Angels-Murphys Rotary Club Collecting Shoes To Help Soles4Souls Fight Against Global Poverty

Murphys, CA....Attention anyone with a closet: Those shoes you no longer want are desperately needed to fight the human tragedy of global poverty. That’s the message being delivered by local service group Angels-Murphys Rotary Club, which in September, launched their fifth annual drive to collect 1000 pairs of shoes to help the poor. Used and new shoes were dropped off at local schools, grocery stores and businesses all over Angels Camp and Murphys.
Murphys, CA...Nettie Lynn Wagner, 52 of Murphys, CA., entered into Heaven’s Gates on November 4, 2015 after a thought to be cured battle with cervical cancer. She was a loving mother to her daughter Nattilee Morea Ieanichello and son Roman James Wagner. She also left her devoted loving Husband Peter George Wagner JR. of Avery, Ca. The couple were hard working people trying to better their lives to care for their family and have a wonderful life in their golden years to come. She has two beautiful grandchildren, Mason and Jema Moris from Nattilee that she cherished.

Arnold, CA...El Nino hopefully is making what will be many, many repeat appearances this winter. We have snow at higher elevations, unfortunately flash flood warnings at lower elevations especially in the Butte Fire burn area. Tonight: At lower elevations...rain in the evening...then rain and snow showers after midnight. At higher elevations...rain and snow in the evening...then snow showers after midnight. Colder. Lows 19 to 34 higher elevations...30 to 42 lower elevations. Snow accumulations up to 4 inches. Snow level 5500 feet decreasing to 4000 feet after midnight...locally lower. Prevailing south winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph...except southwest 15 to 30 mph over ridges. Monday: Mostly cloudy. A chance of thunderstorms...rain and snow in the morning...then thunderstorms...rain and snow showers likely in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms may produce small hail and heavy rainfall in the afternoon. Highs 23 to 38 higher elevations...38 to 46 lower elevations. Additional snow accumulations up to 3 inches. Snow level 4000 feet...locally lower. Prevailing southwest winds up to 15 mph...
