Teddy Bear Clinic Opens Young Eyes To Healthcare Field ~By John Hamilton |

San Andreas, CA...Every year Mark Twain Medical Center opens it's doors to the area's future Doctors and Nursers for a Teddy Bear Picnic. This year 475 kindergarteners from across the county visited the Medical Center in late October. In addition to Doctors, Nurses and staff at MTMC they invite paramedics, fire fighters and others involved emergency as well as normal healthcare. On the day we stopped by the CHP Helicopter was on hand to provide information on their operations which include at times air medical transport. CHP Pilot Jim Hendrix did a great job fielding questions from his young audience. We have a few photos of the event below and a short video of the CHP Helicopter coming in to land....

Topping the agenda is the naming of a new general manager for the district. Presentation by Supervisor Cliff Edson regarding Calaveras County Watershed and much more. San Andreas, CA....We just checked in the Calaveras County Elections Office to get clarification on the latest results update. All that are left to count are 253 Provisional ballots. The results would have to be very one sided to change the results. Congratulations to the Winners.
