Copperopolis, CA...The James D. Piper VFW Post 12118 Invites everyone on November 11, 2013 at 11:00 am to the Second Annual Copperopolis Veterans Day Parade. Main Street, Copperopolis, Ca. Rain or shine. A Public safety day with vehicles and equipment from the Sheriff, Highway Patrol and various Fire and Emergency Departments will be on display after the parade.

San Andreas, CA...Clancy is not only handsome and intelligent, he is full of energy. Clancy is a Rotti cross that is between 1-2 years old and needs lots of training to learn to be a gentleman. Actually he is like a gangly teenager who is not yet totally coordinated. Zena is an American Pit Bull Terrier who is about 6-8 months old. She is grey with a little white and currently weights about 45 lbs but will likely grow a bit more. She has a delicate (almost dainty) build for this breed. She is friendly and playful as well as smart and eager to please.

| Fall brings cooler temperatures and the start of the flu season. Getting flu vaccine early offers greater protection throughout flu season. The Calaveras County Public Health Department recommends everyone 6 months of age and older get flu vaccine every year. Flu season can start as early as October and continue through March. “Seasonal flu can be serious,” stated Dr. Dean Kelaita, County Health Officer. “Every year people die from the flu,” added Kelaita. |

Copperopolis, CA...(Update...This is an interview from almost 2 years ago but the fundamentals hold true. With fiber to the premises in much of their coverage area and including Copperopolis Town Square now may be the perfect time to move your business to Calaveras County.) Caltel was founded in 1895 and is still locally and family owned. One of the great things about this area is that many of our local companies combine local small town values world class technical offerings. As an example Calaveras Telephone has over 1,000 household in the county with "Fiber to the Home". They also have fiber connections to many of the areas businesses including the Copper Town Square area. They currently offer 50mb connections to these customers and are working on another speed bump system wide. They can also work on custom solutions for large volume business clients.
