Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!. 6″ OF NEW SNOW OVERNIGHT AND SKIES ARE CURRENTLY CLEARING!A beautiful day of skiing/riding is on tap as the vibe yesterday was off the hook. So many folks were in the “element and enjoying what we cal”Pure Mtn Fun”. Today we’ll see a high around 25F with WNW winds from 3-6mph. A few days of mostly sunny skies will prevail then we will see a return of more snowfall by Thursday. As with any Resort in Central/NorCal during this storm, we’re all working hard with snow removal, Mtn Operations and more , some closures may be in effect due to high winds and heavy snowfall. Please consider riding with a partner during these deep snow days as tree well immersions are possible. Remember to ride safe, respect the Code and have a great time doing it. Remember, we’re about “Pure Mtn Fun” so come check us out this Winter !!!!! stay tuned………………………….

Arnold, CA...Caltrans has been making quick work of the latest snow layers on our local highways. From North to South...Hwy 88 is clear and without controls, Hwy 4 has controls from Arnold on up, Hwy 108 has controls from Long Barn on up & Hwy 120 is clear. Conditions can change quickly and carry chains, warm clothing and even a blanket or two just in case you need to spend a few hours in your vehicle if you have an incident or breakdown.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!. 7am weather update. 20″ of new snow overnight! 3-7″ expected today with WSW winds from 7-9mph. 3-5″ expected tonight. CalTrans has done an incredible job keeping Hwy 4 open and clear and the easiest access on the Western slope despite the storm intensity. As with any Resort in Central/NorCal during this storm, we’re all working hard with snow removal, Mtn Operations and more. More terrain is slated to open over the weekend so stay tuned for that info and please remember, some closures may be in effect due to high winds and heavy snowfall. Avery, CA...Vallecito Union School District Schools on Two Hour Snow Delay. Today, March 2nd is a two hour late start. All schools and bus routes will start two hours late today. Hazel Fischer / Michelson = 10 am - 2 pm. Avery Middle School = 10:45 am - 3 pm
