Planned Overnight Water Shutdown For CCWD System In Arnold Tonight, November 9 - 10 (Top Post..New Stories Are Below)
Posted by: thepinetree on 11/09/2016 10:05 AM
Arnold, CA...A planned overnight water shutdown may impact service to businesses and residences in the Arnold area on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Water service will be turned off at 9 p.m. Wednesday November 9. Water service will be turned back on by 7 a.m. Thursday November 10. In order to help maintain water pressure in the system, the Blue Lake Springs Mutual Water Co. has agreed to feed the CCWD system using one of its water supply tanks. This supplemental water supply will greatly minimize the impacts of this planned water outage for many CCWD customers. However, customers who are served by the lower elevation portions of the CCWD system may experience little to no impacts, while those living on the higher elevation portions of the system (on top of hills) may experience low water pressure. The District is grateful to Blue Lake Springs for its assistance in helping to reduce impacts on CCWD customers.
Election Day 2016!! The Election Results Will Roll In After 8:30 pm

San Andreas, CA...If past is prologue the first results will roll in shortly after 8:30pm when they release the results of the vote by mail ballots received before polls have closed. In many of the past years if the results show more than a few percentage points between the contestants this first wave can predict the winners. But with 2016 being unlike most election cycles we shall see. Will the proponents of Measure D carry the day? Even their opposition has admired their campaign on style and implementation even if they disapprove of the measure. Will Former Supervisor Gary Tofanelli be able to regain his former seat or has Supervisor Edson proved to his constituents that his hands on the wheel are best? If you refresh the page after 8:30pm the results should start to show.
