Arnold, CA...Stop by Calaveras Humane Society's Thrift Store Cat Adoption Center in Arnold, located in Meadowmont Center next to Big Trees Market, open Thurs. through Sat., 10 am–5 pm. Come in and meet Kate and all of the other kitties! Kitties will also be available at our Angels Camp Adoption Center, located in Angels Town Center (240 S. Main St./Hwy 49), open Thurs/Fri, 10 am–5 pm, and Saturday, 11 am–5pm. We hope to see you!

Bear Valley, CA...MAS is looking forward to hosting the 8th Annual Ebbetts Pass Century (EPC) this Saturday - August 22, 2015. This email contains updates and information to help make the most of participants High Sierra cycling experience. All riders must check-in at the registration desk located at the Bear Valley Adventure Company (aka - gas station) before entering the course. Google map. Friday evening registration/check-in available from 5-7 PM at the gas station. Saturday registration/check-in starts at 6 AM. On site registrations available.

Four scenic routes: 100, 60, 50 and 25 miles and all provide well stocked support stations, a post-ride meal, friendly staff and some of California's most scenic cycling terrain (aka - the "California Alps"). Arnold, CA...Greater Arnold Business Association presented the 10th Annual Arnold Art, Wine & Music Festival last Saturday, August 15, at Cedar Center. Participating wineries included: Black Sheep Winery, Brice Station Winery, Chatom Vineyards, Hovey Wine, Ironstone, Milliaire Vineyards, Stevenot Winery, and Renner. Food from Arnold Pantry and Suzie’s and booth after booth of Art & Crafts. The event ran from 2PM – 8PM with art for sale, great food, wine, and live music from 3PM to 8PM.
Great live music from 3pm Magnolia Rhythm Trio, 4:30pm Bill Welles & Friends, 6:30pm Cantamos with Michela Macfarlane
