Arnold, CA...A few clouds but not much more from the system passing through according to the NWS. Tonight Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. South wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable. Tuesday Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 65. East wind around 6 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon. Tuesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 50. North wind around 6 mph becoming east northeast in the evening....

Elémentaire is the creation of two professional cooks dedicated to helping take the mystery out of making delicious meals from scratch. Our goal is to educate through the use of culinary terms and techniques and also inspire, through the use of the freshest seasonal ingredients, all who watch to make their own meals to enjoy at home. Mike Butow & Debbie Peterson Are Dancing For Much More Than Just Their Score.

San Andreas, CA...We had the pleasure recently to speak with Mike Butow & Debbie Peterson who are competing in tomorrow night's Dancing With The Sierra Stars. The brother sister duo is competing in honor of their father who passed away earlier this year after a long battle with cancer. Training for the show has also been an opportunity for Debbie to participate in a pilot of the Optifast program that is now available from Mark Twain Medical Center. She has lost over 45lbs in the last few months and looks and feels fantastic. So when you watch the competition tomorrow night remember that not only is the competition a great fundraiser it is also a vehicle where the contestants can take their lives to new levels as well...

Fleeing Suspect Tracked Down by Police K-9 Team and Deputies

Arnold, CA...On 11/04/13 at 10:20 am, a Calaveras Sheriff’s Deputy contacted a male adult, identified as James Qualls (41) of Avery, pushing a bicycle alongside Highway 4 near Rancho Paradiso Road in Arnold. Upon speaking with Suspect Qualls the deputy determined that Qualls was under the influence of a controlled substance. As the deputy attempted to inquire further about his observations Suspect Qualls suddenly ran away from the deputy into the wooded area, abandoning his bicycle and a backpack. The deputy gave chase but lost sight of Suspect Qualls. Other deputies, along with an Angels Camp Police Department K-9 team arrived at the scene to assist with the search of Suspect Qualls. The K-9, who goes by the name of Kato, was able to pick up the scent and quickly locate Suspect Qualls hiding out in a dry creek bed. A follow up search by the K-9 on the path taken by Suspect Qualls turned up a cigarette pack containing suspected methamphetamine. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia was also found inside Suspect Qualls’ backpack....
