Dorrington, CA....CHP is reporting that a bear has been hit on Hwy 4 near Golden Torch Drive. It is near the 5000 foot sign on the east side of the roadway. Please use caution in the area...

Arnold, CA...Along the West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada spring has sprung this week. Today Mostly sunny in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Highs 48 to 63 higher elevations...60 to 72 lower elevations. Prevailing east winds up to 10 mph shifting to the southwest in the afternoon. Tonight Partly cloudy. Lows 29 to 44 higher elevations...41 to 49 lower elevations. Prevailing southwest winds up to 10 mph shifting to the southeast after midnight.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! After a day of Pond Skimming, Brewfest, Jib Jam and more it's time to relax and ski/ride the beautiful spring corn skiing!!! The high today should be 57F with winds out of the SW from 5-10mph. High pressure ridging is in full effect and the spring corn style skiing/riding is off the cobb!!!! 4 or 5 more days of sunny weather then a chance of snow later in the week. Come on up to Bear Valley and enjoy the ride! All weather Highway 4 is the easiest drive to any resort on the West slope! We're about "Pure Mtn Fun" so come check us out.
