Traffic Alert...Vehicle vs Propane Tank

Arnold, CA....Crews are on scene at Camanche and Rawhide in Arnold. A pickup went off the roadway and and hit a propane tank. There was a small propane leak which crews have stopped. Just spoke with Ed ad TCU Command Center, "There was no fire involved with the leak. The vehicle was unoccupied when the Sheriffs Department arrived on scene."

Trail Building volunteers, November 13th; new trail being created north of Manuel Peak


The last trail building day of 2010 was November 13th and the volunteer trail crew included Jim Harrington, Liz Doroud, Tony Littman, Bob Nelson, Hailey Nelson, Erin Nelson, Sid Marsh, Dave Edney, Jane Escola, Tim Hicks, Sandi Pearce, Judy Bettencourt, Cam Deen, Jim Boyer, Al Vick, Karen Brodine, Jeff Brodine, Tay Brodine, Nick Brodine, Solay Summersett, and Tyler Summersett, led by USFS staff Jeffery Hilson. They started work on a section of the trail that will follow the ridge line north of Manuel Peak and eventually .......

Large Tree Into Residence on Summit Level Drive

Dorrington, CA...Crews are on scene of a large tree that has fallen into a residence on Summit Level Drive in the Dorrington Area. According to EPFD personnel on scene power lines are down and PG&E and Ebbetts Pass Gas have been notified...

In Loving Memory of Baby Evan Daniel Linebaugh

Arnold, CA....Evan Daniel Linebaugh was born to his family asleep on December 28th, 2010. He weighed 1lb 3oz and 10 inches long. Baby Evan was 27 weeks and passed away due to a condition called Hydrops Fetalis. This is a condition that Evan's mommy wants every parent to remember and learn about, so when you have the time look it up and learn about. Baby Evan is survived by his parents Jasen and Sarah Linebaugh, his brothers AJ .....
