There's Still Time to Contribute to an IRA for 2018 ~ From Brian J. Tewksbury

Posted by: thepinetree on 03/08/2019 12:23 PM
Murphys, CA...Even though tax filing season is well under way, there's still time to make a regular IRA contribution for 2018. You have until your tax return due date (not including extensions) to contribute up to $5,500 for 2018 ($6,500 if you were age 50 or older on December 31, 2018). For most taxpayers, the contribution deadline for 2018 is April 15, 2019 (April 17 for taxpayers who live in Maine or Massachusetts).  You can contribute to a traditional IRA, a Roth IRA, or both, as long as your total contributions don't exceed the annual limit (or, if less, 100% of your earned income). You may also be able to contribute to an IRA for your spouse for 2018, even if your spouse didn't have any 2018 income.

The 17th Annual Love the Forest Concert March 9th at the Vida Buena Farms in Vallecito

Posted by: thepinetree on 03/08/2019 02:33 PM
Vallecito, CA...Mark your calendars for the 17th annual Love the Forest Concert at our New Location at the Vida Buena Farms in Vallecito, Saturday, March 9th, beginning at 7 pm. Cantamos with Michela Macfarlane: Michela and Cantamos highlight their musical dexterity by moving from arias, traditional Latin songs, and musicals, to contemporary favorites. Their music moves seamlessly from English to Italian, Spanish to French, Portuguese to Hawaiian and back again. Michela Macfarlane spent ten years steeped exclusively in baroque music. To expand her singing world she moved to the realms of jazz, pop, and Latin sounds. Michela is still true to her operatic roots and has grown as a performer. Michela is backed by Ron Schaner on (Bass and vocals), Gunther Huse (Keyboards, Trumpet, and vocal), and Ray Price (Drums), Ras Beeken Dan: Sax, Clarinet & Flute, Brandon Broholm: Trombone and Tonja Peterson: vocals & percussion.

The SNAC Family Thanks You for Shopping & Renting Locally!

Posted by: thepinetree on 03/08/2019 03:43 PM
Arnold, Murphys & Sonora, CA...The SNAC Family Thanks You for Shopping Locally! Back in the early 90’s, when Shawn was selling out of the back of his truck as “The Eddy Mart”, the most important items to have on hand were life jackets, river shorts, sandals and river knives. Oh yes, and a few things the rafting customers would want, t-shirts, hats, sunscreen, etc. It became obvious that The Eddy Mart was getting too big to operate out of a garage when the whitewater kayaks came. It was time for a storefront. That’s when providence arrived on the scene.
