Progress is being made every year and now cancers that were statistically fatal only a few years ago are becoming manageable conditions. All of this takes research time and money. Mountain Ranch, CA..The Izzy B Community Improvement Project was started in 2012 to memorialize the passing of our young friend, who died of tongue cancer at the age of twenty-one. This year’s recipients include the Mountain Ranch Community Club ($300), the Mountain Ranch Youth Alliance and Resource Center ($500), KQBM Radio in West Point ($500), the Calaveras County Animal Shelter ($760), and Harmony Ranch ($2700.) All funds were donated by CPR supporters. CPR would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of the patients and supporters who contributed to this years fundraiser. We would especially like to thank the local Calaveras businesses who participated in this year’s effort. The Heart of Gold Café in Mountain Ranch and Little Trees Wellness Collective in Arnold both made substantial donations to this year’s effort...
