Angels Camp, CA...Party #1 was driving Vehicle #1 in the Eastbound traffic lane of State Route 4 at approximately 65MPH. Party #2 was driving Vehicle #2 in the Westbound traffic lane of State Route 4 at approximately 55MPH. P-1, due to his unsafe speed, allowed V-1 to travel left of the left of the solid double yellow center line while attempting to negotiate a natural curve in the roadway to his right. P-2 observed V-1 approaching him within P-2’s traffic lane and applied his brakes forcefully.

Angels Camp, CA...Joanie Cooke, 74, passed away peacefully in her home on June 5, 2015 after a long illness. Joanie was born in Martinez, California to Patricia and Clarence Clinkscale. Though Joanie was a long-time resident of Concord, CA she resided in Angels Camp the last seven years of her life.
