Angels Camp, Camp, CA....Get ready for the fabulous CFLC Christmas Program “Meet Me at the Manger, Wise Men Still Follow Him Today." at Bret Harte High School Performing Arts Theater in Angels Camp on Thursday Dec. 8th 7 p.m., Friday Dec. 9th 7 p.m, and Saturday Dec. 10th 1:00 & 7:00 p.m. Please call CFLC school office for ticket reservation at 736-1175. (They have been known to have all the seats filled!)

Angels Camp, CA...Angels Camp’s Christmas celebrations kick off on Saturday, December 3 with the annual Christmas Open House in the historic downtown from 10 am to 8 pm. All of the events are sponsored and organized by the Angels Camp Business Association. During the Open House, merchants and restaurants will have special offers and displays as well as treats for shoppers; and restaurants will offer special menus....

Main St. Angels Camp, CA...The Holiday Season seems to be here in earnest as the City of Angels Camp came out today on Main St. in Downtown to begin decorating. Joe Kitchell did the hard work today to see that everyone driving Main St. in Angels Camp felt the flavor of the season.This is the week of thanks...so please do thank those among us who work every day in service to us all. Whether they are employed by the City of Angels Camp, the County of Calaveras, the State of California, or serve in some capacity to the United States of America...these men and women wake before we do, go to bed long after we do, and are there for us 365 days of the year!....

Angels Camp, CA...Pack The Patrol Car really packed it in on Saturday. Over 130 Turkeys and loads of other non-perishable foods were donated to help the Calaveras County Food Bank as they strive to help close to 1,000 local families this Thanksgiving Season...

Angels Camp, CA...Calaveras Children's Repertory Theatre Had Great Performances of Willy Wonka Jr. this last weekend. We have the great fortune of having thriving youth and adult theatre here in the Mother Lode. Patrick Works stopped by and took some great photos of our local hard working Thespians in action...

Arrests in Angels Camp After Accident.. |

| Angels Camp, CA...On 11-16-11 at about 2323 hours the Calaveras Co. Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to 7449 Esmeralda Drive, Angels Camp for a report a vehicle accident that resulted in a physical fight. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an intoxicated female driver (Jasmine Grant), two intoxicated passengers, and three young children all under six years of age. The investigation revealed that the male occupant of the suspect vehicle started a physical fight with an occupant of the crash victim’s vehicle. The suspect was restrained by the victim until he calmed down. CHP arrived a subsequently arrested Jasmine Grant and charged her with.. |

Bear Valley, CA...We have made some improvements to our weather page this morning based on recommendations from Bear Valley Cross Country. Our weather page now reflects what they have found is the most accurate location for Bear Valley Weather. We have also added a permanent Copperopolis weather snapshot block as well. What follows is the forecast for the Bear Valley area for the week. As the weather changes our areas entertainment focus heads towards the high country...
