Angels Camp, CA....Celebration of the day of Christ's birth is the basis of our Christmas season. History of Christian practice in the western world lies deepest in the Christian Orthodox tradition. We in Angels Camp are blessed to have a congregation who have kept alive that tradition...and are not here but are a growing faith community! St. Gabriel's Mission is just across Vallecito Road from Tryon Park in Angels Camp. From the outside it does not look like much...

Calaveras Community Band Brought Holiday Cheer to Foothill Village |

Angels Camp, CA...The Calaveras Community Band graciously performs at Foothill Village Senior Living Community four times a year. On Monday, November 28th Twenty Five members of the Calaveras Community Band came to perform holiday music. They were joined by the Boy Scouts, Troop 353, who sang Christmas carols while the band played....
A donation of $250.00 was presented to the bands conductor Mic Harper by Foothill Village Activities Leader, Te Harrison.

Murphys, CA...Come and celebrate the Christmas season with the members of The Suzuki School of Northern California Orchestra as they perform original arrangements of sacred traditional carols from the 15th-20th centuries. Special guest artist, vocalist Brittany Duggan. Artistic Director, Brook Moes. The group is made up of children from the age of 4 to 19. Angel Camp, CA...Main St. has been alive with Christmas color, and there is no more colorful place than the Christmas Store at Calaveras Lumber during this Holiday Season! We've all seen the signs, and all year we are in and out while we shop at Calaveras Lumber. Whether it is building, decorating, or just basic maintenance; we've all come to know those doors that welcome us, and bring us home to what we need. Angels Camp, CA...The final touches are being put on the new Round Table Pizza restaurant everyone has seen being built next door to Starbucks in Angels Camp. Dave and Sheila Howard, along with their kids Rachel and Jared, have been fixtures in our area for many years. The Howard family have provided a nice family atmosphere, good food, and lots of jobs at the three restaurants they own and operate in Valley Springs, Arnold, and Jackson. Angels Camp is pleased that they've chosen our community to expand their operation....

Historic Downtown Angels Camp, CA....Santa came to the parade, but that was just the beginning of a wonderful night of Christmas celebration hosted by the Angels Camp Business Association. As dusk fell the songs began as a procession of carolers made their way from Vintage Realty to the Visitors' Center and the annual City of Angels Camp Christmas Tree lighting....
