San Andreas, CA...Some of our local school children and churches are really going all out to help our local charitable organizations fulfill their mission during these tough economic times. Members of the Christian Family Learning Center Student Council spent part of their Friday filling food bags and seeing how our local Resource Connection Food Bank functions. They also brought with them thousands of paper grocery bags and egg cartons that they can use. Food Bank Director said that each bag they have to purchase is a significant cost to them so if you can save your paper grocery bags it really helps them stretch their food dollars. Foothill Community Church also made a $2,000 donation and Sarah Wilson presented the check during their visit...
CFLC's Sarah Wilson, Foothill Community Church's Buck Reed and Food Bank Director Jeannie Hayward with a $2,000 donation to the Food Bank. We have Video of CFLC's Visit To the Food Bank Enclosed... |
