The notice to vendors announces the forest’s plans to post a contracting solicitation on or about Nov. 15 that will remain open for 15 days. “We are in the middle of our Travel Management, subpart C planning effort and recognize how important snowmobiling is as a recreational opportunity on the forest. A system of groomed trails is vital to providing that opportunity in a safe and sustainable way,” said Beth Martinez, Public Services staff officer for the Stanislaus National Forest. “I encourage individuals and organized user groups and clubs to help spread the word regarding the need to groom our trails and the upcoming contracting opportunity.
