Calaveras County, CA.....In anticipation of a large attendance, the Calaveras Planning Commission Meeting of February 19th will be relocated to the San Andreas Town Hall at 24 Churchill Road in San Andreas. The Commission meeting will begin at 9am with the Trinitas Project scheduled to begin at 10am. Full Agenda enclosed.....

We just found out about this website on the White House website.....Recovery.gov is a website that lets you, the taxpayer, figure out where the money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is going. There are going to be a few different ways to search for information. The money is being distributed by Federal agencies, and soon you'll be able to see where it's going -- to which states, to which congressional districts, even to which Federal contractors.

San Andreas, CA....One of the hot topics discusses at Wednesday evenings San Andreas Sanitary District Meeting was the possibility of proposed rate increase for the San Andreas Area. Why is Rate Adjustment Needed? The District collects wastewater from homes and businesses within San Andreas and then treats and disposes it at its waste water treatment plant. The current monthly sewer rates charged by the District cover the District’s cost necessary to operate, maintain, and service debt on the existing waste water collection and treatment system. It does not cover upgrade improvements to the waste water treatment and costs of operating those improvements in order to maintain compliance with State requirements.....

San Andreas, CA....The CCWD Board voted 5-0 this morning to accept land and access easements from Trinitas to house a high-tech clustered groundwater monitoring well that will launch its groundwater monitoring program in western Calaveras County. The US geological Survey has been contracted to install the well on the Trinitas Project site to provide the most advanced data gathering tool for groundwater aquifer movements that.....
