San Andreas, CA...On Thursday, April 23, 2020, Calaveras Public Health confirmed an additional case of COVID-19 in Calaveras County. This case is an older adult female from West Point. The individual is a household contact linked to a case already known to Calaveras Public Health. The newly diagnosed resident is in isolation and has had no contact with persons outside of her home during the infectious period of illness.

Reclamation Updates 2020 Central Valley Project Water Allocation for Friant Division

Sacramento, CA...Today, the Bureau of Reclamation updated the water supply allocation for Friant Division Central Valley Project contracts for the 2020 contract year. The Friant Division provides water for 15,000 family farms and several cities in the Central Valley. This is the second update to the 2020 Central Valley Project water allocation for Friant Division this year. Initial allocations were made on February 25. Reclamation increased the allocation from 20% to 40% for Class 1 water supply on April 6.
