Terry Wayne Guyton 1946 - 2014

Mountain Ranch, CA...Longtime Mountain Ranch resident, Terry Wayne Guyton, died on Monday November 3, 2014 at age 68. Terry was born in Los Angeles on June 20, 1946. He grew up in a military family spending his childhood in various parts of the world.Terry settled down in the Bay Area where he went to high school and then earned a Bachelors degree at San Jose Stale in Recreational Therapy. He then went on become a police officer in San Jose where we was unfortunately forced into early retirement due to an injury. Terry moved to Mountain Ranch in 2000. Here he spent time enjoying family and friends, riding rnotorcycles, traveling with his wife and fixing things in his workshop...

Scott Davis Adams 1979 - 2014

West Point, CA...Scott Davis Adams born on March 1, 1979 passed away November 6, 2014. Scott attended school at Community Christian School from kindergarten through 8th Grade. He graduated from high school at Amador High School in 1997. Scott loved the outdoors including fishing and camping. He also loved playing sports especially soccer and baseball. Later in life he returned to CCS as a coach and also coached his daughter’s teams. In addition he spent many hours snowboarding, riding motor cross and practicing mixed martial arts. Scott spent the majority of his life in Pine Grove but later moved to West Point with his family. He married Amber Alaway on August 27 2005. They were blessed with a daughter, Averi on January 25 2008. Scott suffered from many ailments and required a kidney transplant in December 2005. For the next ten years he suffered from constant nausea but still managed to enjoy life, especially the time spent with Averi. He is now pain free in heaven....

She happily met her husband Daniel Diaz in April of 2007 and they married, as best friends, 5 years later in September of 2012. This past year, on New Year's Day, Brittany was diagnosed with brain cancer. She was given a terminal diagnosis for which there was no cure or life saving measures available. Sonora, CA....James “Jim” Edward Stone, 63, Passed away on October 31, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Jim was born on May 12, 1951 in Sonora, CA. to Jim and Opal Stone. He was raised in Copperopolis and Murphys California and attended Calaveras High School. He worked for Linebaugh Logging right out of school then at Mt. Reba/Bear Valley Ski Resort for 23 years before moving to Jackson Montana where he and his wife owned Jackson Mercantile for several years. The last 13 years Jim worked for The Big Hole National Battlefield and retired last year....

TCSO Cause of Death For William Ray Jaspar

Copperopolis, CA...Late afternoon on October 28th a passing motorist saw a deceased William Ray Jaspar, 58 from Riverbank in Lake Tulloch near the Lake Tulloch Bridge. A forensic autopsy was conducted on the deceased, William Jaspar, The pathologist concluded the cause of death was drowning with a contributing factor of a massive stroke. It appears Mr. Jaspar suffered a massive stroke which caused him to fall into the water. The pathologist also concluded had Mr. Jaspar not drowned the stroke would have been fatal within several minutes....
