Copperopolis, CA....CAL Fire is stating sparks from a dragging dozer is the cause of a 1/4 acre vegetation fire on Friday June 6th at 904 Reeds Turnpike at 100 Ranch Road in Copperopolis. There were no injuries and no dollar damage reported. Fire report enclosed....

| Vallecito, CA...If you hear sirens in the Murphys / Angels Camp Area...Emergency Crews are working a minor injury accident 2 1/2 miles up Camp Nine Road. There is a vehicle 30ft off of the roadway and an involved party is walking along the roadway. Updated with CHP release enclosed... |

Angels Camp, CA....We were just informed by law enforcement agencies that Bret Harte High School is currently on Lock Down. There is heavy law enforcement activity in the area. Since school is not in session, the only students at Bret Harte currently are those doing extra-curricular activities or working on projects. This was an arrest related to last nights homicide. In speaking with Principal, Dean Way, the school was told that the lock down may lifted within one half hour....(Updates enclosed).....

Angels Camp, CA...We just spoke with Angels Camp Police Chief Dale Mendenhall and he has now confirmed that there were two fatalities and one juvenile injured in a fight that broke out around 7pm Thursday. The Fight occurred right on Stanislaus Ave and spilled over onto the parking lot of an adjacent apartment complex. Crime scene investigators are on scene now and will probably remain so for the duration of the night....

Angels Camp, CA....The Angels Camp Police Department is asking for your assistance in locating Juan "Diego" Flores Cruz, who is a suspect in a double homicide. On June 5th at approximately 7:30pm, two men were stabbed to death at 612 Stanislaus Avenue in Angels Camp. Any information that can be provided as to the above subjects whereabouts, known associates or locations he frequents, is requested. Please provide any information to the Angels Camp Police Department......

Sonora, CA...The Forest Service today announced that three Stanislaus National Forest (NF) employees and two Tuolumne County community leaders have been selected to receive the prestigious national Windows On The Past Award. The five are being recognized for outstanding leadership in organizing the well-attended “Home on the Range” cultural history event held last September at the historic, 1870’s era Fahey Cow Camp, located on the Forest’s Mi-Wok Ranger District.....
