Copperopolis, CA....CAL Fire is stating sparks from a dragging dozer is the cause of a 1/4 acre vegetation fire on Friday June 6th at 904 Reeds Turnpike at 100 Ranch Road in Copperopolis. There were no injuries and no dollar damage reported. Fire report enclosed....

Angels Camp, CA....We were just informed by law enforcement agencies that Bret Harte High School is currently on Lock Down. There is heavy law enforcement activity in the area. Since school is not in session, the only students at Bret Harte currently are those doing extra-curricular activities or working on projects. This was an arrest related to last nights homicide. In speaking with Principal, Dean Way, the school was told that the lock down may lifted within one half hour....(Updates enclosed).....

Angels Camp, CA...We just spoke with Angels Camp Police Chief Dale Mendenhall and he has now confirmed that there were two fatalities and one juvenile injured in a fight that broke out around 7pm Thursday. The Fight occurred right on Stanislaus Ave and spilled over onto the parking lot of an adjacent apartment complex. Crime scene investigators are on scene now and will probably remain so for the duration of the night....

On June 5th at approximately 7:30pm, two men were stabbed to death at 612 Stanislaus Avenue in Angels Camp. Any information that can be provided as to the above subjects whereabouts, known associates or locations he frequents, is requested.
