Allergy Elimination, Stress Reduction, and Personal Sustainability - Focusing on the Person, Not the Illness

Posted by: Lea_Marie_C_Paar on 07/01/2014 08:20 PM
Murphys, Ca..."There is nothing greater than good health," Christine Rodriguez, R.N., Biofeedback Specialist, and owner of Energy Matters, says. At a new office in Murphys, Christine with Energy Matters and Jenny Fuqua, Health Coach, have teamed up to work with the community on becoming healthier by working on personal sustainability and balancing the body's energy. Unlike a traditional doctor's office or clinic where a person will usually be written a prescription and dismissed, Jenny and Christine focus on the person, not the illness, to provide tools for each individual to sustain good health permanently, not temporarily. Christine, who has been been working to reduce stress and eliminate allergies in people for 20 years in Florida, Columbia, and now here in Murphys, uses a computerized system that both tests and balances the body at subtle energy levels, telling Christine where stress is affecting each person, so that Christine can provide an energy adjustment to relieve the negative impact that stress causes. Jenny has been working towards healthier living her whole life, and provides individual support tailored to each person's specific lifestyle and needs, emphasizing clean eating and controlling cravings, working with and managing digestive issues, and creating simple and sustainable total body wellness....

City Council Sends Medical Center Project Packing Or At Least Back To Planning Commission Update Full Video Up Now ~ By John Hamilton

Posted by: thepinetree on 06/18/2014 08:37 AM
Angels Camp, CA....It was a very tough meeting to sit through last night as the Angels Camp City Council voted 4-1 last night to deny the zoning amendment that would have kept the ball rolling towards a new 15,000 sqft Family Medical Center & Medical Office complex at the the corner of Hwy 4 & 49. It was painful to witness because the real problem was not the project or the concerns of the residents. If we are going to get serious in our area about economic development projects like this need to be able to go forward and City Councils need to have the intestinal fortitude to pursue real solutions like the Clifton Lane solution which has the potential to solve the residents concerns for decades....

Seasonal Heat Readiness for Tuolumne County

Posted by: thepinetree on 06/10/2014 07:15 PM
Sonora, CA... As we enter the hot season for the Sierra foothills, it is time to prepare by checking water stores, supplies of important medications and air conditioning systems in homes and businesses. If you know of neighbors or friends who might benefit from assistance during the coming hot weather, this might be a good time to check on them. It is important to wear appropriate clothing during hot weather, especially for children. Wearing a hat and using sunscreen is a good idea if you plan to be outside. If you are unaccustomed to working or exercising in hot weather, it is important to pace yourself, drink 16 to 32 ounces of liquids every hour if you must be active in the heat, and include some foods, juices or sports drinks to replace electrolytes (salts in the blood)....
