San Andreas, CA 6/23/15 — The Resource Connection Early Childhood Programs will have AmeriCorps volunteer for fourth year. AmeriCorps engages more than 80,000 men and women in intensive service each year at more than 15,000 locations including nonprofits, schools, public agencies, and community and faith-based groups across the country. Members gain valuable professional, educational, and life benefits, and the experience has a lasting impact on the members and the communities they serve.

Sacramento, CA...Dangerously hot weather is predicted for the Gold Country Region, and the American Red Cross wants to remind everyone of the steps they should take to stay safe when the temperatures rise. “High temperatures, humidity and hot, indoor environments can quickly cause heat-related emergencies,” said Lilly Wyatt, Spokesperson for the Red Cross Gold Country Region. “Excessive heat can lead to sunburn, heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke.”

It is the ideal way to get back into shape after surgery or an injury. Pinnacle Physical Therapy will begin their Aquatic Therapy Program commencing June 1, 2015. London, UK...A genetically engineered herpes virus can halt the progression of skin cancer by killing cancer cells and sparking the immune system into action against tumours, a landmark clinical trial has shown. It is the first time that a Phase III trial of viral immunotherapy has definitively shown benefit for patients with cancer.
