Arnold, CA...The Annual Arnold & Ebbetts Pass Corridor Wildfire Community Preparedness Meeting. Is Saturday, May 4th, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Independence Hall, 1445 Blagen Road in Arnold. This annual meeting is a great way to raise awareness of wildfire risks in our area and how to mitigate that risk and be prepared in case a fire does threaten our area.

Enjoy a day in Murphys and leave the driving to Calaveras Transit! Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. The 2018/19 Ski Season is in the Books...Summer on the Way to High Country

Bear Valley, CA....As the bull-wheels came to a stop and the end of the 18-19 winter season came to a close we stopped by Bear Valley. It was a great season with almost 500 inches of snow that will feed our streams and lakes and make this summer a great one. Now the race is on to get the passes open as soon as possible for the summer. Below is a bit of video from just after closing time yesterday. After stopping at Bear Valley we headed to the closure point on Hwy 4.
