Arnold, CA...Announcing our 10th Annual Arnold Library FUNdraising dinner. Saturday, April 27th, 6pm Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge. Sponsored by the Arnold Friends of the Library and the Women of the Moose. We will be bringing back our much-loved raffle with prizes donated by generous patrons and local merchants. Get your dinner and raffle tickets at the Arnold Library Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. Raffle tickets will be available at the event as well. See you there!

Arnold, CA...The Annual Arnold & Ebbetts Pass Corridor Wildfire Community Preparedness Meeting. Is Saturday, May 4th, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Independence Hall, 1445 Blagen Road in Arnold. This annual meeting is a great way to raise awareness of wildfire risks in our area and how to mitigate that risk and be prepared in case a fire does threaten our area.

Enjoy a day in Murphys and leave the driving to Calaveras Transit! Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Bear Valley, CA....As the bull-wheels came to a stop and the end of the 18-19 winter season came to a close we stopped by Bear Valley. It was a great season with almost 500 inches of snow that will feed our streams and lakes and make this summer a great one. Now the race is on to get the passes open as soon as possible for the summer. Below is a bit of video from just after closing time yesterday. After stopping at Bear Valley we headed to the closure point on Hwy 4.

Bear Valley, CA...Happy Easter everyone. This is the day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Thank you everyone for a great winter season. We could not have done it without you, our customers. Great morning to be out in the meadow. Chilly last night, 28, allowed the freshly groomed trails to set up nicely. Skate in the morning and stride in the afternoon. Tamarack was groomed last night for you dog lovers. Come by the store and look for the Easter Eggs!
