West Point, CA...After two long dark seasons, the Blue Mountain Players are excited to open a new play and welcome patrons back to our little theater in the heart of West Point. We dare you not to die laughing with this local production of The Cemetery Club, written by Ivan Menchell and directed by Vicki Snead-Hinkell.

Sutter Creek, CA...On March 4, 2017, a chilly windy day, Sutter Creek’s historic Knight Foundry opened its doors to the public for the first time in nearly 20 years. Nearly 1,200 people visited, and two decades of pent-up interest and enthusiasm was unleashed. Now, five years later, the organization that made it possible is both looking back at how they got here and making exciting plans for the future.

Angels Camp, CA...Please come join us on Saturday March 26th As we walk together along Main Street in Angels Camp we will show our support for the unborn. The Walk will start at Round Table Pizza/Starbucks and end in Utica Park. (Please carpool as parking is limited at both venues.) Walk sign in starts at 9:30. Walk at 10:00. After the walk please join us for a short presentation and fellowship in Utica Park. Presentation in the park will be around 11:15 to 11:30. Specialty coffee drinks from the Connections Café and food will be also be available in the park.

Bear Valley, CA...Mark your calendars for the 7th Annual Nikolay Dodov Slopestyle Competition happening on March 26th, 2022! The event will take place in Kodiak Park with live music on the slopes and the Sun Deck. Slopestyle is hosted by the Nickolay Dodov Foundation, whose mission is to provide free avalanche safety education to youth and all snow sports enthusiasts. Whether you are ready to showcase your best tricks or just want to jam out on the slopes to some great reggae music, be sure to check out this annual event! Dj Mountain Lion and Dj Freedom Fighta will be spinning next to Kodiak Park on the mountain. The 7th Street Band featuring Arkaingelle and Army from Caribbean will be performing on the Sun Deck, you won't want to miss their performances! The Slopestyle sign-ups will take place the morning of the competition in the Sun Room. Registration is open from 9 to 10AM, the cost to participate is $20. There will be a practice session in Kodiak Park from 10 to 11AM there. The competition will begin at 11AM, with the awards ceremony on the Sun Deck at 3PM. The Nickolay Dodov Foundation is the leading provider of Free Avalanche Education to all ages in Northern California. In the last nine years this foundation has provided free avalanche education, presented the Avalanche Awareness Program “Know Before You Go”, and taught workshops to more than 13,000 snow sport enthusiasts.

Guest speakers are : Calaveras County Sheriff Rick Dibasilio & Ebbetts Pass Fire Chief Mike Johnson. Coffee & refreshments will be served. This is your opportunity to get involved in our community and discuss the upcoming 4th of July Parade & more.
Lift Served Mountain Biking Coming to Bear Valley this Summer!!

Bear Valley, CA...You've heard the rumors all season long, and now we're officially ready to announce that lift-operated mountain biking is coming to Bear Valley Resort this summer. The official launch date is still pending as it's weather dependent, but we're hoping for a late June to early July start. For our first season, mountain biking will be on weekends only from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
