Governor Newsom Announces Over 200,000 Education Workers Have Been Vaccinated in the Past Week, Surpassing Goal

Sacramento, CA... Governor Gavin Newsom today announced that, since the state began dedicating 10 percent of vaccine supply for education workers on March 1, over 200,000 education workers have been vaccinated, far exceeding the state’s goal of 75,000 vaccines per week.

Washington, DC... National Women’s History Month traces its roots to March 8, 1857, when women from various New York City factories staged a protest over poor working conditions. The first Women's Day celebration in the United States was in 1909, also in New York City. More than seven decades later, Congress in 1981 established National Women's History Week to be commemorated annually the second week of March. In 1987, Congress expanded the week to a month, and every year since has passed a resolution (and the president has issued a proclamation) designating March Women’s History Month.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! Thursday shows face with 23F at 5am ahead of expected clear and sunny skies with the high at 38F and a lite SSW wind things on the hill today are shaping up to be epic fun. Winds will increase tonight as Friday looks to crest at 41F for the high before some snowy weather returns Friday afternoon into early Saturday morning. 3-6″ at pass levels is projected so here at the resort I’ll stretch and say 3-5″ based off trajectory and orographic lift for our area. Another weak system may show face come Monday but I’ll give that another day or to before we dig into that event. Coverage is great out on the hill with 100% terrain open so get out and ski/ride and enjoy the Pure Mtn Fun ethos! Stay tuned……..
