Avery, CA...Mountain Aloha is located just off Highway 4 in Avery, CA. We are a family owned and operated bike and skate shop in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our goal is to build a biking and skating community that utilizes the experiences our small town has to offer. Mountain Aloha was born from the idea that we can bring an aloha vibe to the mountains and create a community of like-minded people eager to get outside and have fun. BIKE SALE! Wallace, CA...The Wallace-Burson Association, a non-profit organization located in Wallace, Calaveras County, will be honoring two of its members – Harold and Caroline Doll – for their more than 50-years of service to their community at a celebration to be held in their honor starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 27 at the Tri-Lakes Church located at 7999 Wards Ave in Wallace. The event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and will occur on a Day which the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors has proclaimed “Harold and Caroline Doll Day” in Wallace and Burson.

Mountain Ranch, CA...The Mountain Ranch Car Show and Craft Faire returns to Mountain Ranch Saturday August 27th. Event opens at 9AM. Car show entries will be judged and trophies awarded at 12PM. Other attractions include our Craft Faire, with creative and unique items for sale by many talented vendors. The Snack Bar will be open providing a variety of delicious hot and cold sandwiches, soft drinks, chili, nachos, and root beer floats. There will be a bounce house for the kids, and a dunk tank staffed by our local talent. The horseshoe tournament begins at 11AM with a $10 buy in. Enter your car, $20 entry fee. When distancing guidelines cleared his 2020 touring calendar, Grover began playing Pickup Truck Concerts, driving all over Northern California to play safely-distanced acoustic shows from the bed of his truck for folks in their driveways. Yosemite, CA...One of the most popular trails in Yosemite Valley, the Mist Trail, is getting some work done. Crews will be making repairs and improvements to the trail and stone staircases to allow for safe passage and to prevent resource damage from off-trail traffic.
